Security at Amsterdam
All business aviation passengers departing from Amsterdam Schiphol must pass the security checkpoint.
All departing passengers should at
all times be accompanied by a crew member when passing through the
security check. This is required so that the crew member can
identify an individual to the security staff as a passenger on
their flight. After this security check has been
completed, KLM Jet Center will provide transportation to the
aircraft.
It is not allowed to
access the ramp area with private vehicles. The only exemption
possible is reserved for passengers with a high risk profile and
who are protected by private security staff. These passengers are
allowed to drive their car through the gate into the "Security
Restricted Area" where the required security check will take place
in a sealed off area in the KLM Jet Center building. Once the
security check has been completed, onward transportation to the
aircraft will always be provided by KLM Jet Center.
Should passengers wish to bring a
hunting- or sporting rifle as baggage, KLM Jet Center must be
notified at least 24 hours in advance so that officers of the Royal
Netherlands Military Constabulary will be present to check the
required documents and permits.
We realize that these
measures require time and routines on your part. To
ensure that the check goes as efficiently and customer friendly as
possible, you can rely on our dedicated team of specially
trained security personnel. They will make sure that you can depart
quickly - and safely!
